Mamas, you deserve more than your kids’ leftovers. I noticed when I was eating their leftovers, I was filling myself up with way too many carbs and not feeling great. I like to prep ground beef ahead of time so I always have a backup lunch ready. It’s nourishing and easy to throw into a bowl with whatever toppings I’m in the mood for. I usually go for avocado and salsa, but you can switch it up with rice, lettuce, sour cream, or whatever’s in the fridge.

Whether it’s a 30-minute walk, a good stretch, or a full-on workout, I’ve made moving my body a non-negotiable. It’s definitely been trickier with more little ones, but I’m figuring it out as I go!

A special drink is part of my rhythm too. Morning coffee, an afternoon iced drink, or a quiet tea time… whatever it is, sitting down and enjoying that little moment as a mama and homemaker is just… amazing! 👌🏼

And getting dressed and ready? It changes everything. When I don’t, I feel less motivated and honestly kind of moody. I do give myself makeup free days to let my skin breathe, and sometimes I stay in yoga pants after a walk but most days, I like to get ready for the job I have: homemaker and homeschool mom.

Remember self love over selfish love and we will pass along more love when we love ourselves better.
